Today's post is all about #mechanicalseal, most critical part of any #rotatingequipment

API plans are useful to provide either healthy environment to mechanical seal or monitor and detect its integrity and performance.

Numerous API plans are available in API 682 for better #reliability and healthy life of any mechanical seal. in one of my post all the plans were discussed with its brief explanation. API plan being selected based on fluid properties, operating parameters, seal type and seal arrangement.

Once the right plan is selected, it is #Operation team require to monitor few key parameter at regular interval. While #maintenance engineer require to inspect some of the key components as part of preventive maintenance job in order to ensure trouble free life of the seal.
